Nature, Sustainability, and Forest Ink

Forest Ink is a dark, natural palette for conservation groups, outdoor brands, and editorial sites about land and food. The green-black canvas feels like deep woodland, and the cream text keeps long reading comfortable without the clinical feel of white on black. Amber does the accent work, ideal for highlights, pull stats, and donation buttons.

The secondary green is noticeably darker than typical medium greens, which keeps it from fighting the amber. Photography shot in natural light will sit comfortably on any of the tonal surfaces. For sections that need to feel lighter, invert the hierarchy: cream canvas, dark green text, amber still reserved for action. Run the contrast table before putting green text on green surfaces, since those pairs are the easiest to push below AA.
